Attendance is an essential component of student learning. We understand that students may become ill and need to stay at home. ALL absences are required to have a written excuse for the teacher stating the reason for the absence. The district automated attendance system will call your home by 2:00 PM each day when your student is absent. Read the SCPS attendance policy here
