Green Line: Clear/Unobstructed Lane
Red Line: Lane designated for car line
Car Line Procedures:
The car line procedures are set in place to ensure the safety of all and order regarding drop off/pick up. Prior to car line beginning, the outside "green" lane must be left open for emergency access to the school. The only times permitted to obstruct the lane are in the morning from 8:15-8:35, and the afternoon 2:45-3:15. Vehicles found in the lane prior to the aforementioned times will be asked to move to the back of the car line.
Morning Car Line Procedure:
Vehicles may begin to line up in the "red" lane (Lane closest to the school) until 8:15am. At that time, in a safe and controlled manner the car line will split into both lanes becoming "double lined". DO NOT form a double line prior to 8:15am as traffic needs to flow uninhibited. When exiting the car line, begin to merge with caution as you pass the playground area. Vehicles found in the lane prior to the aforementioned times will be asked to move to the back of the car line.
Afternoon Car Line Procedure:
Vehicles may begin to line up in the "red" lane (Lane closest to the school) until 2:45pm. At that time, in a safe and controlled manner the car line will split into both lanes becoming "double lined". DO NOT form a double line prior to 2:45pm as traffic needs to flow uninhibited. When exiting the car line, begin to merge with caution as you pass the playground area. Vehicles found in the lane prior to the aforementioned times will be asked to move to the back of the car line.
NOTE: Failure to move your car when asked will result in receiving a Uniform Traffic Citation (Up to a $500 fine AND 5 points on your Driver's License). Cell phone use in the car line is prohibited. This measure is to ensure safety and the vehicle operator is not distracted.
